The PCC Peace Unit has recently reacted to ongoing violence following the outcome of the October 12, Presidential election.
In a peaceful and heartfelt message addressed to Cameroonians home and abroad, the National Peace Coordinator, the Rev. Mrs. Sobe Florence Ebango, acknowledged the ongoing pain and sufferings of the masses calling on all to restrain and uphold peace while pursuing justice.
Here’s the open call to all fellow citizens.
A CALL FOR NON -VIOLENCE
“Our dear brothers and sisters, beloved Cameroonians, these words are aimed to bring healing, patience, and renewed trust in God’s justice.
We know your hearts are heavy with the happenings around you. You might have labored, hoped, and prayed for fairness, yet what you see today seems like injustice.
Yes, when people are deprived of their rights and freedom, it mostly results to violence. But take heart, beloved: God’s justice may be delayed, but it is never denied.
The Bible reminds us in Psalm 37:7–9: “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes… For those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.”

This is not the time to lose faith or surrender to bitterness. When men fail us, God remains faithful. Despite the shortcomings of human design, God’s throne is still righteous. Even when the outcome seems unfair, remember that God sees, God hears, and God records every act done in secret.
No injustice escapes His eyes. So instead of fighting with hatred, fight with hope. Instead of using weapons, use wisdom.
Instead of cursing, keep praying because prayer shakes the foundations of injustice more than violence ever can. Hold on to this truth: the final verdict belongs to God.
He has promised in Isaiah 61:8, “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward My people.”
Let your peace be your protest, your patience be your power, and your faith be your flag.
The story is not over. God is still writing the final chapter, and it will end in truth and restoration”.
