Christians of PCC Bonamoussadi have embraced the message of peace with the affirmation of spreading it to all the nooks and crannies.

This was during the occasion to launch the International Day of Peace in the Congregation by Staff of the PCC Peace Office led by the National Peace Coordinator, Rev. Mrs. Ebango Florence Ebude.

Preaching on this year’s theme of the World Peace Day “Cultivating a Culture of Peace”, the National Peace Coordinator, enjoined the christians to make every effort to live in peace with one another.

Present to add his voices to the peace call and push forth peace activities in the congregation in particular and the Presbytery as a whole was the Presbyterial Secretary for the East Mungo North Presbytery accompanied by Elders of PCC Bonamoussadi.

As a peace message to the Congregants, Rev. Kang Denis, called on all to cultivate the culture of peace instead of war.

On their part to revamp the peace call, the CWF Movement of the Congregation acted out a sketch captioned “no voice” depicting how to overcome violence in the home, church and the community.

The day equally saw the decoration of the most peaceful persons in all the Groups, Movements, Choirs etc with a peace ambassadorial button.

As a sign of acceptance of the peace call, the Christians on their part, while chanting peace songs also swung their peace plants with much optimism peace will reign in all aspects of their lives.
