Our Commitment to Peace

At pccpeacework.org, our mission is to cultivate a world where peace prevails. We envision a future where every individual understands the importance of peace and justice. Our values are rooted in compassion, integrity, and dedication to non-violence. Through our diverse programs, including Peace Education, Peace Journalism, and the Peace and Justice Centre, we strive to educate and empower communities to resolve conflicts and promote harmony. Our work with Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and our Eyole initiative further exemplify our commitment to creating lasting peace.

Our Strategies and Approach

In our workshops, we use peer learning, experiential learning methods, group work, energizers, role play, sharing, practical contemporary situations and exchange roles to pass on knowledge and animate training sessions.

To build confidence, tolerance and understanding amongst participants during our workshops and trainings, we encourage networking, thematic focus pairing, self-image presentation, freedom of expression, social excursion/discoveries and cultural evening parties. We also focus on diversify and differences in recruiting participants to our programmes. We believe that the more people with differences meet and stay together, they learn, rediscover, become friendly, develop mutual respect and eventually break stereotypes and prejudices – and social cohesion is enhanced and sustained.

Our Mission and Vision

At pccpeacework.org, our mission is to cultivate a global society rooted in peace and justice. Through our comprehensive peace education initiatives, we aim to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to resolve conflicts non-violently and promote harmony. Our vision is a world where every person is empowered to contribute to a peaceful and just society.
